The Mooroopna Rotary Club has always had a strong commitment to the youth of this area. Actively involved in the Youth Exchange program since 1966, we have sent students to Japan, Switzerland, Austria, USA and many other countries and hosted students from many places including Belgium, Brazil, Germany and Denmark.

We award student scholarships twice a year to Quiet Achievers at seven local primary schools. Students who show care to others, help the teacher without being asked and do their work on time.

In December we provide a transition sponsorship to a Year 6 student from each primary school to help with uniform or fee costs. Teachers select a student who would benefit the most from this support.

The club hosted a Rotaract Club for many years. The club sends participants to  RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) and RYPEN (Rotary Youth program for Enrichment.)

For a number of years we sent a team of students from the Mooroopna Secondary School to MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly) in  Canberra.
